Summary
THE winners of the first ever Citizen and Gloucestershire Echo Women in Business awards will be revealed next week.
There has been keen interest in the six categories and last week the judges gather at the Echo offices in Cheltenham for the difficult task of selecting the successful entries. On the judging panel were Gloucestershire Media managing director Sarah Irvine, SLS Training managing director Sharon Lee Sheather, BPE Solicitors LLP partner Helen Lovatt and Business Link head of business growth services Suzanne Hall-Gibbins. Sarah Irvine said: "We are delighted at the very strong response we have had to the first ever Women in Business Awards for Gloucestershire. "The entries have come from all sectors of business and I think reflect the great diversity of the Gloucestershire economy which is one of its strengths. Standard of entrants were outstanding therefore making decisions was difficult. "I would like to thank my fellow judges for taking part in what has been a challenging but fascinating task.See the full content of this document
