VISITORS are being asked to continue to stay away from hospital wards after an outbreak of a diarrhoea and vomiting illness.

Two wards were closed at Cheltenham General Hospital and one at Gloucestershire Royal last week as health chiefs fought to control the spread of the bug, thought likely to be norovirus.
