CONSTRUCTION firms and apprentices have received a welcome boost after it was announced Pounds 1m of funding was being made available to help support beleaguered industry training in the South West.
ConstructionSkills, the UK's Sector Skills Council for construction, announced it had successfully secured the funding from the National Apprenticeship Service .
