PLANS are afoot to more than double the number of legitimate pitches for travellers in Gloucestershire. And the team behind the Joint Core Strategy - Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Gloucester councils' joint effort to decide which parts of the county should be developed - is seeking suggestions about where to put them.
Although there is no set target for the number of permanent sites that must be provided by the authorities, councillors believe more space is desperately needed.See the full content of this document
