WHAT kind of a person would shoot a defenceless cat with a gun? Poor Emily is now scared to go out and her family have been left to pick up the hefty bill for her treatment after she was shot with a BB gun by mindless thugs.
Earlier this month, the RSPCA began a campaign calling for tougher penalties for those who conduct such horrendous crimes, and quite right too. This is not just shooting at tin cans but putting the life of a much loved pet in danger. Emily's owner Daisy has been left devastated by the injuries and her dad Richard Hadley described it as 'mindless'. He said those responsible for the cruelty should be ashamed of themselves and let's hope someone in the community speaks up and names the perpetrators.
