SMITHS Waste Management, a Division of Smith's (Gloucester) Ltd, has won a prestigious contract with Countryman Fairs, organiser of game and country fairs. Based at Eastington, Smiths will provide all the waste management services at the company's events in an open ended contract. Countryman Fairs organises five award-winning events across England, from Cumbria to Sussex. James Herbert, from Smiths Waste Management, said: "Event management is a growth area for Smiths and our contract with Countryman Fairs represents a milestone in the development of this part of the business.
