LORD Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, Sir Henry Elwes was due to formally receive his knighthood today.
He has been recognised for his major supporting role for the last 17 years with the honour bestowed for 'personal services to the Sovereign'. His duties include planning and conducting all royal visits as well as representing the county at many events. Recently, he helped co-ordinate the Queen's visit to Gloucester's waterfront and GCHQ.See the full content of this document
