LONDON General Insurance Company Ltd (LGI) recruited more than 170 local staff from Gloucestershire and invested over Pounds 500,000 in direct training when the business moved from London to Mitcheldean. This investment proved a crucial factor in winning new business from leading brands including the RAC, John Lewis Partnership, B&Q and Volkswagen.

During the move to Gloucestershire, LGI continued to provide a seamless service to 13 million customers managed for existing clients such as Allied Irish Bank, Tesco, Comet and Honda. The Mitcheldean site now employs 210.
