AFTER my wife had read me the letter from Anne Richardson, in which she criticised Lido supporters who celebrated the proposed multi-story car park at Cheltenham General Hospital being turned down, she came up with a proposal that was so bizarre I felt we ought to share it.

Just imagine if the county council and the health authority co- operated and altered the route of the Benhall Park and Ride service so that it ran down College Road and stopped opposite the hospital, as has been done with the 94/94u. Perhaps then, some staff and some visitors could free up space at the hospital to allow those in need to park close by.
