SATYENKUMAR Patel admits to being a nervous man. Next week the Gloucester menswear designer has about 15 minutes to impress UK and international buyers and top fashion press who crowd into London Fashion Week. His catwalk show on Wednesday will be a stylish, glossy affair mixing smart tailoring and the best of English eccentricity with wearability.

"I am a little bit stressed," he says from his Notting Hill studio. "There is a lot to do and I'm working day and night. Everyone is helping out but I am leading it all. It's hard to delegate because the collection is so intricate."
