Bishop Michael Perham carried out the blessing and official opening of the new St Luke's facility at Cheltenham General Hospital (Echo, June 24), during which I suspect prayers would have been offered for the staff and patients who'll use these facilities.
How would the Bishop respond if the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was to discipline a nurse for offering to pray for the recovery of a patient, as was the case in North Somerset when nurse Caroline Petrie was suspended after offering to pray?See the full content of this document
