THIS giant Garfield made it from the red carpet of Leicester Square to a Gloucestershire children's ward, but now he's in need of a new home.

The toy, which towers at four-and-a-half feet tall and cost Pounds 3,000 to make, was donated to Battledown Ward at Cheltenham General Hospital after rubbing shoulders with the stars at the London premiere of a Garfield film. But due to fear of the toy transmitting infections, hospital staff want to let it go to the highest bidder and use the money to buy toys and facilities for the children.
