Madam - It's a disgusting state of affairs that hundreds of children are having teeth pulled out because of a lack of NHS dentists (Echo, June 7).

I have had to register as a private patient to continue receiving dental care and I have to pay for my daughter to receive an annual check-up even though she is still at school.
