Dear diary,WELL, the War of the Wolds is upon us. I do find it rather quizzical how hyped up these humans are over the Gold Cup. I have been seeing more about myself and Denman in the papers this week than I have about the other seemingly less important political contest which is soon to be battled out.

I received a rather heart-warming good luck message this morning from my loyal friend Neptunes Collonges. The old boy is having to sit this year's Gold Cup out after chasing me and Den home in recent years. It's nice to know he'll be rooting for me.
