AN inquest has been opened into the circumstances surrounding the death of Lee Johnson, a member of the infamous Johnson clan who died this week. The 48-year-old is believed by his family to have taken a drug overdose at his home in Tewkesbury Road before being admitted to Cheltenham General Hospital, where he died. Close relatives said he had been suffering from depression since the death of his son Jake, 19, in December 2009.
