Summary
I HAD a meeting this week and was second to arrive at the venue. My colleague was sitting in his car speaking on the phone as I pulled up in the Kia Carens.
Thank goodness for mobiles because had he got out of his vehicle as soon as I rocked up, he would have witnessed an embarrassing spectacle. How on earth do you get the key out of the ignition? I had turned it back anti-clockwise and pulled to find it locked in place. Putting the shift in to neutral changed nothing and depressing the pedals was similarly ineffective.
