FOR former fighter pilot Peter Jackson, Cheltenham Community Transport is a lifeline. The 87-year-old, who lives in Leckhampton, uses the service to attend a regular lunch club and to visit his wife, Lilian, who is being cared for at a residential home in the town following a stroke.
Thanks to a team of volunteers who use their own transport to pick him up and take him to various locations across the town, he is managing to maintain a normal life.See the full content of this document
