Summary

TODAY UNTIL MONDAY, CHELTENHAM: Prestbury Park has been transformed into an arena for music, comedy and inspiring talks as the faith-based Greenbelt Festival gets under way today.

Over the next four days the main stage will be rocking out to Texans Sixpence None The Richer, songwriter Duke Special, chilled out tunes from Norwegian electronic duo Royksopp, The Invisible - whose mesmerising debut album was nominated for a Mercury Prize - and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble. In an attempt to 'keep Monday special' some of the best acts have been saved for last with Bank Holiday Monday seeing the return of indie pioneers Cornershop and Athlete, fresh from the V Festival, who released their new album Black Swan this week. As well as music there is comedy from Alex Horne, Barbara Nice, Mundo Jazz and James Dowdeswell.
