Summary
I WAS musing recently - I like a good muse - about the things I never expected could happen in my lifetime. Some are trivial, some not so, like the fall of the Berlin Wall or being able to order a pizza over the 'phone and have it delivered to your door. You decide which is which.
It's only a few short years ago when it was possible not to be contacted day or night in any location through a portable telephonic device. Or to have the voice of a sitcom actor/science fiction character/stand-up comedian tell you how many turns on the right to ignore before reaching your destination. And don't get me started on advances in string theory and large hadron colliders...
