ENERGETIC children and parents ensured an inaugural fun run took off. More than 30 people ran or walked a two-mile, off-road route from King George V playing field to the Westwoods Surgery and back in aid of Northleach Playgroup. The sponsored event looks set to raise at least Pounds 200 for the 27-strong group, based next to the primary school, and could be the first of many.
