ROCK stars of the future will perform at the annual Woodystock festival in Winchcombe. One of Cheltenham's up-and-coming bands, Swift Manouver, has earned a place at the event, which supports the work of firefighters.

Now in its fifth year, Woodystock was the brainchild of retained firefighter Alan Woodward. After a decade of working to save lives, he wanted to give something back to the fire heroes, and all the money raised at the festival on September 3 is donated to The Fire Fighters Charity.
