Family Values at the Heart of Growing Firm

AN independent security specialist is investing a six-figure sum into a new IT platform and insists family values remain at its core despite new expansion. Gloucester-based Allcooper Limited, which provides installation and maintenance services, is to launch its new IT drive in February to improve communication and offer further support to its customers. Managing director Roman Cooper said the platform would introduce more "transparency across the business" and would break down barriers.

The platform is designed to simplify and streamline business processes and will give Allcooper enhanced control over its operations. The award-winning family firm is also investing in head count. It has recently increased its staff levels by more than 50 per cent to 85 employees. The recruitment drive, across all departments, sees three new apprentices start this week in its engineering department. But Mr Cooper said the firms' values had not and would not change, no matter how much it grows.
