AN AUTHOR has lined up extra book signing dates after copies of his latest work ran out ten minutes after it was launched.

David Hanks, a member of Cheltenham Local History Society, was supposed to sign copies of Cheltenham Past And Present at Waterstone's in the Promenade in September, but within minutes the books had sold out.
