I AM always amazed when you carry features about the indignation of tradespeople when they break the law and illegally park and are surprised when they receive a parking ticket as a consequence (Echo, September 18).

There are many who need to visit the public in their homes in the course of their everyday work, who equally do not have parking rights around the town or permits.
