A PROMINENT member of Cheltenham Borough Council's planning committee has criticised provision for the disabled in the plans to expand the Art Gallery and Museum.

Coun Barbara Driver, who sits on the committee which gave the plans for the new building in Clarence Street the go-ahead, says not enough thought has been given to allowing disabled people, particularly wheelchair users, to use the space.
