On his side deserving a bigger win: I think we played some wonderful rugby in passages. I didn't think the score did justice to the difference on the day between the two sides. Gloucester also played some great rugby in the second half when they were forced into it and we were down to 14 men. But I thought we were well worth the win. Some of the pace which we play at when we get going was reminiscent of what we've been at over the last year or two. We had a chat about it on Monday when we had some players back and we could almost start again. That's how we want to play. We put it on the plate and say, 'Stop it if you can', and they nearly did. But we did enough to win the game.
On there being more to come from his side: I don't think that was an 80-minute performance by any stretch of the imagination. We switched off for five minutes when we went 32-16 in front and put ourselves under pressure. But fair play to them, they stuck at it and then started to show an ambition to play and they've got some good players. In terms of the style of play, that's a good illustration of where we want to be, but there were areas we need to work on."See the full content of this document
