WHEN Jonathan McFarlane was faced with the heartbreaking prospect of nursing his wife through her final months, he was able to call on invaluable support.

The dad-of-two was helped through the tragic time by Marie Curie Cancer Care. The charity provided Jonathan's family with trained nurses to enable Lorraine to die peacefully at home. The 38-year- old mum-of-two was diagnosed with a brain tumour on New Year's Day 2004.
