BELIEF that money feared lost in failed Icelandic banks will be recovered in full is growing among Gloucestershire's councils.

Despite only receiving a fraction of what they are owed so far, local government finance bosses say they are confident most of the Pounds 31 million invested in the foreign accounts will be returned by the end of 2010.
