Tomorrow's services at St Lawrence Church are Holy Communion at 9.15am and Evensong at 6.30pm. Churches in the North Cheltenham benefice are currently studying the findings of work parties held at the end of June. Those who attended have drawn up lists of what they think their churches are doing well and of their hopes for the future. Members of the Marle Hill WI will be out walking on Monday evening. This year their guide, John Heathcott, will take them on a tour of Crickley Hill. There is much to learn about the history and of the archaeology of this ancient site. The Parish Council meeting will be held at the village school on Tuesday at 7.30pm. Those who wish to attend the public session should note that the meeting is taking place a week ahead of the usual schedule. A lovely garden in Leckhampton will be open on Sunday, August 8, from 2 until 5pm in aid of the Cobalt Unit Appeal. There will be tea and cake for sale as well as Cobalt cards and cook books. The address is Calmela, 36 Westbury Road. Admission is Pounds 2.50.
