The centenary of a series deciding game of rugby league between New Zealand and the Northern Union in Cheltenham is to be marked with a plaque.
The last game of the 1908 series was played at Cheltenham Rugby Club. The 27 New Zealanders only learned the new rules six months before, but shared the first two games and won the decider.See the full content of this document
