THE Bugatti 10K was held in humid conditions which caused some discomfort among the racers. John Parker of CLC Striders was in a league of his own, way ahead of everyone, but leading the chasing pack was Bourton's Mike Smith.
He finished a clear second ahead of Anthony Bailey and Garry Payne after a tactical race, in which Smith was confident to wait until the top of the hill before making his move and finishing in 35.49.See the full content of this document
