Summary

JOINING Beata Moore on her journey through the Cotswolds is an true feast for the eyes. Starting in the east in mid-winter, she has taken stunning photographs of the region's famous landmarks and less- lauded vistas. Moving through the south in the spring, the north in the summer and then on to the west in the autumn, Beata reveals the essence of the English countryside. The Cotswolds stretch from Stratford-upon-Avon to Bath and from Gloucester to Oxford. Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1966, the region encapsulates the best of rural England, from the gently rolling hills to the honey coloured limestone villages.

More than 12 million people visit the Cotswolds every year but Beata has managed to emphasise the region's serene tranquility beyond the crowds.
