Summary
Madam - I was very interested to read of the artefacts which have been unearthed by builders working in Stoneville Street.
My paternal grandmother owned one of the houses which survived the 1940 bombing. The house next door was destroyed and left a huge hole in the ground. It was eventually filled in and my grandmother bought the plot to provide a garden to the property, which she later sold to my parents.
