TOMORROW AND SUNDAY, LECHLADE: A buzzing weekend of entertainment is in store.
Actress Tina Hobley will officially open the Lechlade Festival at the family music event taking place at the Riverside Park tomorrow. The two-day festival features more than 50 bands and performers on two stages as well as a kids area with rides and activities, a real ale bar provided by the town's own microbrewery, hog roast, stalls and more stuff. The inaugural event has been made possible by sponsorship from local property development company The Lakes by yoo, a 650-acre luxury second home community near Lechlade. The festival line-up includes flamboyant showmen Rebel Territory fresh from supporting The Kooks, punk band Jet Pack who were recent recipients of a Rock Radio award, popular Fairford band Let The Games Begin and ska-punk outfit Slagerij from Swindon.See the full content of this document
