THE SKY is the limit for daredevil pensioner Denis Williams. Most people in their eighth decade understandably think about taking life a little slower - but not Denis. The 74-year-old retired plumber wants to celebrate his next birthday on November 28 by hang gliding off a mountain. This will not be the first time the grandfather of 13 has tackled dizzying heights to mark reaching a milestone. Five years ago he celebrated turning 70 by doing a skydive in Swindon.

GLOUCESTER rugby star Lesley Vainikolo fractured the skull of a fan "for no reason" after a night out with fellow players, a court heard. Vainikolo, 30, punched Jake Alicker once to the head near the Second Bridge nightclub in Bath in the early hours of October 26 last year, Bristol Crown Court heard yesterday.
Drivers Delayed by Crash On M5
DRIVERS on their way through Gloucestershire faced long delays this morning after a serious collision on the M5. All three lanes on the northbound carriageway were closed between junction 14 for Dursley and junction 13 for Stroud, with traffic diverted through Falfield and onto the A38 to rejoin the motorway.
